Single/Multiple Teeth Replacement
Implants can replace single or several missing teeth, or the whole arch. They restore chewing and esthetic functions without unnecessarily grinding down adjacent teeth or uncomfortable dentures.
Are you tired of your loose and uncomfortable dentures? You can now have much more stable dentures with just a few implants placed in your jawbone. This is an affordable option for those who want to feel secure about their dentures without spending a lot of money.
Fixed Implant-Retained Hybrid Prosthesis
This is a great option if you want to have your implant teeth fixed to your bone. You don't ever have to worry about the prosthesis getting loose, and it is just like having a new complete set of teeth.
Mini implants are an affordable treatment option for those of you who lack bone volume to receive regular sized implants. These mini implants are placed and your dentures are snapped into them providing increased retention and support.
When there is not enough bone present at the implant sites where teeth are missing, you need a bone graft. This bone graft procedure will restore the volume of the bone that has been lost over time and create a healthy and strong bone for implants to be placed.
Frequently Asked Questions
What are dental implants made of?
Dental implants are made of three connected parts: the implant, abutment, and dental prosthesis. The implant is the part that is embedded into the jawbone and is made of a titanium screw. The abutment, also made from titanium, serves as the connector piece between the implant and the dental prosthesis. The dental prosthesis is the visible part of the dental implant and is either a dental crown, bridge, or denture made of ceramic, porcelain, or zirconia.

Will dental implants work for me?
Dental implants may work for you if you have missing teeth that you want to replace. Implants will also require that you have adequate bone mass to properly support them. To find out for sure if dental implants will work for you, schedule a consultation with Dr. Paul Kim today!

How are dental implants placed?
Dental implants are placed by first making an incision in your gums to reach your jaw bone. Once your jaw bone is visible, a series of specialized dental drills will be used to carve out a space for the dental implant. The final drill will create a texture in the space for the dental implant to grip. Then, the implant will be placed in the space and secured accordingly. Depending on your treatment plan, the abutment may be attached at this time. After the implant has been placed, your gums will be stitched up and you will be able to return home to rest.
